Marvel is bringing together two of its fastest heroes, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, to face a new set of challenges. However, a major argument separates the Maximoff twins before an attack by the Wizard. Fortunately, Quicksilver is not alone in his fight against the Wizard, as he is joined by his speedster nephew, Tommy Shepherd. The upcoming Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver #3 promises to continue the conflict between the Maximoff twins and the Wizard and his Frightful Four. The cover art by Russell Dauterman shows Quicksilver and Speed running together, ready to take on the Wizard. While Quicksilver is known for his speed and personality, his nephew, Speed, is strikingly similar in appearance and attitude. Reuniting the two could give Tommy a chance to prove himself to the family.Additionally, Pietro and Tommy both possess the ability to think at an incredibly fast pace. Their seamless ability to plan and communicate efficiently could make them a powerful duo, especially when they are both motivated to save the Scarlet Witch. This dynamic is reminiscent of their first meeting in the 2010-12 miniseries Avengers: The Children's Crusade where Quicksilver and Speed team up to search for Wanda alongside Magneto and the Young Avengers. Tommy takes this opportunity to prove that he can keep up with his uncle, and with their quick wit and fast feet, they are the perfect team to tackle the Wizard.

Pietro and Tommy can both learn from each other. While Pietro's sharp tongue doesn't always work in his favor, Tommy's similarities make him better suited to tolerate his caustic personality. Tommy could benefit from having a mentor, especially since he hasn't experienced the same positive trajectory as his brother Wiccan. Working alongside family gives Speed the chance to be a hero once again, and the reunion could also benefit Pietro as they prepare to confront the Wizard. Marvel is bringing Quicksilver and Speed back together in the upcoming Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver #3, just in time to face a powerful magical enemy. The issue is set to be available on April 24 from Marvel Comics, featuring writer Steve Orlando, artist Lorenzo Tammetta, colorist Frank William, letterer Ariana Maher, and cover artist Russell Dauterman.
