The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series hinted that one of the turtles would become a cyborg, and now it has been revealed to be Jennika. In issue #147, Donatello and Venus, along with their mutanimal companion, Bob, find themselves in a cyberpunk future where they meet Jennika, who has undergone a cyborg upgrade. The future they encounter is one of cybernetic enhancement and liberation for all mutanimals, and their home has transformed into 'Mutant City', where technological advancement is flourishing. This marks a bold new direction for the TMNT Universe.Armaggon made its first appearance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game - The Alliance #4. During the previous TMNT event, The Armageddon Game, Armaggon presented itself as the ultimate threat to the Ninja Turtles. Donatello accidentally travels through time and finds himself in a desolate future where he witnesses Armaggon consuming a timeline that included future versions of himself and Venus. Since then, Donatello has been obsessed with finding a way to stop Armaggon, primarily partnering with Venus, who is a magic expert. Together, they are sliding through time, hoping to find a way to stop Armaggon. In the upcoming issues, Cyborg Jennika could either become a powerful ally or a villain, having replaced her humanity with cold machinery.The next issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by IDW Publishing will delve deeper into Cyborg Jennika's story and her role as a potential friend or foe to the TMNT. Fans will also learn more about her time period and the ongoing quest to defeat Armaggon. Regardless of what the future holds, Jennika's gnarly cyborg upgrade in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles canon is undeniably impressive.
