Additionally, he can sense energy sources and disrupt Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability due to electricity. However, these powers have always been limited compared to characters like DC's Greens who can create constructs with their willpower.
But now, Electro has a new that greatly enhances his powers. With this power-up, he is able to create living similar to what a Green Lantern can do with their energy. This newfound ability makes Electro much versatile.
In the past, Electro hasn't been one of Spider-Man's major villains to the one-dimensional nature of his powers. While he could control lightning, he lacked the to create constructs like a Green Lantern would. Often when facing him in battle, Spider would try to short-circuit him by getting him wet.
