Electro, as his name suggests, has the power to control all things electrical. He shoot lightning from his hands and has even transformed into living electricity. Additionally, he can sense energy sources and disrupt Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability due to electricity. However, these powers have always been limited compared to characters like DC's Greens who can create constructs with their willpower.

But now, Electro has a new that greatly enhances his powers. With this power-up, he is able to create living similar to what a Green Lantern can do with their energy. This newfound ability makes Electro much versatile.

In the past, Electro hasn't been one of Spider-Man's major villains to the one-dimensional nature of his powers. While he could control lightning, he lacked the to create constructs like a Green Lantern would. Often when facing him in battle, Spider would try to short-circuit him by getting him wet. In this particular issue during a with Iceman, Electro is eventually taken down using this tactic.
