This year's DC Valentine’s Day special, How to Lose a Guy Gardner in 10 Days #1, features eight 10-page romantic comedy stories focusing on the love lives of favorite heroes and villains.

In the Wonder Woman-focused story, "Say Yes to the Mess" by Brendan Hay and Maria Laura Sanapo, DC firmly establishes Diana Prince as the reigning heartthrob. Villains and heroes alike compete for Wonder Woman's affections, with some surprising admirers.

In "Say Yes to the Mess," chaos ensues as villains, heroes, and regular citizens vie for Wonder Woman's attention. Diana, unimpressed, finds herself cleaning up the mess and rescuing those in danger. Guy Gardner, Poison Ivy, and Doctor Psycho are among those trying to win her over. By the end of the day, Diana has received over sixty unwanted date requests, cementing her status as the most sought-after Valentine in the DC Universe.The Wonder Woman holiday special featured a more light-hearted and whimsical tale, a departure from her typically serious narratives. It also gave a charming Valentine's Day twist by portraying Diana as the most sought-after Valentine in the DC universe, a title usually associated with Dick Grayson. Nightwing also received his own Valentine's story, focusing on his balancing act between Batgirl and his crimefighting duties.

In a bold narrative move, Doctor Psycho confessed his love for Wonder Woman by mind-controlling a crowd to spell out "I <3 WW," surprising given his participation in an Anti-Wonder Woman task force.
