The armor will play a major role in Logan's final battle against Sabretooth in Wolverine #50, from writers Victor LaValle and Benjamin Percy with art from Geoff Shaw and Alex Sinclair. Forge's Adamantium Armor will be unleashed as the ultimate weapon to protect the lives of the X-Men and mutants alike in the penultimate part of 'Sabretooth War.'Forge, the mutant inventor, is known for creating incredible new gadgets that seem to come straight from his mind, thanks to his powerful ability. During the Krakoan Age, he revolutionized technology on Krakoa using biotechnology from the island's flora. Many of Wolverine's X-Force technologies were created by Forge, and he even made an adamantium-dipped surfboard for Wolverine.
Marvel's hint of the Adamantium Armor suggests that Forge may have made it before the war with Orchis began, indicating that he knew Logan might need it in the future. Iron Man and Forge had a recent collaboration to create mysterium battleships, and Iron Man had created an Adamantium armor years ago, although it was decommissioned.
