"Baldur's Gate 3 is a game that is full of hidden interactions and secrets. Some of the best and rarest of these interactions are not always easy to find, but they are well worth seeking out. Players who explore Baldur's Gate 3 will discover a wealth of hidden content, including class-specific dialogue, differences between the Custom Origin and Dark Urge, and locations, quests, or NPCs that are difficult to find. Each act contains plenty of secrets, and it's possible that they all still haven't been found. But with the information currently available, here are some fun and interesting hidden or rare interactions to look out for."

Baldur's Gate 3 is imposing in stature, but some early issues with scale suggest an uneven experience.

If Derryth from the Underdark is the lone survivor of her husband's demise, then there is an easy side quest that can be missed in Act 3. Wandering around Bonecloak's Apothecary, three stray cats named Barsik, Myshka, and Malta await a kind word or gesture. These cats can be spoken to with the Speak with Animals feature, and bestowing a companion upon Derryth is a sweet gesture. However, the reward is much more profound when she has a loving place to call home.

His Majesty, a cat found in Last Light Inn, reveals that he harbors a rather unusual and entertaining opinion about Isobel, the woman who keeps the inn safe from Shar's curse. While they have a mutual respect, His Majesty's trust in Isobel has been shattered due to her persistent failure to fulfill a simple promise—to give him some milk as promised. This revelation reveals the underlying cause of the Dark Urge's memory loss in BG3, as it stems from the Dark Urge's trust issues with Isobel.

"Amelia Tyler, the narrator of Baldur's Gate 3, talks about her creative insanity, thirst art, and crafting a voiceover that allows for boundless player options."When Shadowheart spares the Nightsong and forsakes Shar, her attitude towards Selûne completely changes. After she returns to following Selûne like she was originally raised to do, her dialogue reflects her deep respect and reverence towards the goddess. Her interactions with Selûne are no longer filled with scorn and disgust but express genuine awe and admiration.

In Act 1, there is a statue of Selûne and a locked box of offerings in the Owlbear Cave. If Tav is a Cleric of Selûne, they can open up the box and take the offerings without completing the puzzle to unlock it. If Shadowheart is present, she makes a comment about Tav's potential violation of Selûne's honor, but ultimately agrees with him that any advantage they can gain during this journey is worth a slight offense.

Karlach wears her heart on her sleeve, and that's why this interaction is especially sad. When Karlach is exploring the graveyard in Baldur's Gate, she spots her parents' graves. She stops to talk with them, then she'll speak more to Tav about her childhood in the city. Her situation is already sad, with her options for her future being limited to returning to Avernus or dying, so this interaction adds another layer to that heartbreak.
